unikorentoHospital called. Got work for (probably) a week. At least for tomorrow. Hooray!
As the universe would have it, this coincides with the one week that we would have had zero bookings, and I could have had three whole days of only cooking for the harvest team and not needing to do anything else. What would have been 3 hour workdays will now be 12. But then again - I'll actually get paid, so not really complaining here. Just... rolling my eyes at the timing of it all.
Seriously. Does anyone know how to watch Hammer of the Gods and not walk away feeling five kinds of cranky? I really thought it wouldn't be so bad the second time, but apparently... seeing it coming does not make it any less annoying.
...Can I please write fic where all this never happens? That's not cheating, is it?

lillannan visited here (and got roped into helping to prepare for a wedding party, poor girl), and we got to sing a lot, and Brother had his birthday and we ate cake and played Carcassone until 4 a.m. Sister and cousin's kid Maiju have left, so me and Inka have the whole upstairs to ourselves. It's almost like having some privacy. And I have the computer all to myself for once. <3

Date: 2011-07-18 07:47 pm (UTC)I know what you mean... there are certain episodes of Supernatural, that, no matter how I try to watch them/consider them, are either too sad for words, or too frustrating for words.
I will not spoil the season finale of season 5 for you, but I will tell you, if you're anything like me, you will need a bucket of tissues to get through that episode. Then again, I usually bawl my eyes out during almost every season finale of Supernatural!! The season 3 finale when Dean went to hell was a sob-fest for me(even knowing, as I did ahead of time, how season 4 began!).

Now I'm just checking to see if there was something I missed the first time around :P I think I've decided that season 3 might be a favourite. That whole feverish must-save-Dean was engaging to watch. I think my brain would've melted if I hadn't had season 4 all ready to go at the end of the s3 finale O.O That summer must've been torture! (... no pun intended. No, really.)

My nordic self never fails to feel stepped on there :P You can't kill Baldur without misteltoe, not dying was the only freaking power he had. And then Lucifer just stomps in and is all LALALA I'm the powerfullest for no reason LALALA. Between Kali and Odin, they should've totally been able to bring him down! And there were plenty of guys there! *flail* And where do they get off painting all non-christian deities as blood thirsty? *stomps foot* About half-way through the episode I'm all red-faced and shouting stuff like "my dog could write a better episode than this!"
And then it ends. And Gabriel! :( I love the show to bits, but that episode is just awful >.< And Gabriel! We want him back!
