Episode 2x10 of Criminal Minds? I'm only half way through, so I might still change my mind, but so far - I do not approve.

Yes. Damn it all. I'd want to skip the whole thing, but that Emily character has just entered the scene and I don't want to miss the way she's being introduced.

But... argh! It's eps like these that really make you notice that big ol' puddle between our continent and the one the show is made on. Different. Perspective.

All in all I didn't end up taking the ep so hard... but the whole premise had me uncomfortable from the start. Like, the moment they said what was going on, I was convinced it was going to be bad. I think the fact is I expected worse than I got, so I ended up not being as upset about it as I might have been.

Did that make sense?

I also tensed up the moment they said what was going on, expecting the worst. I think everything was going sort of ok-ish, until Gideon starts talking to the prisoner and they start "discussing" the Qu'ran and having faith and... there's supposed to be deeper levels of understanding.

It's just.. the show cannot pull it off! You can't pretend to have a dialogue with someone, when it's all from one perspective and - oh yes - the other person is chained to a chair.

I guess overall I'm better at not getting bothered by things like that. I usually don't pay it mind during the episode... it's afterwards that things start bothering me more.

It's one of the eps that I watched and then I did not think about it. Ever. Again.

Ok. I watched it to the end. you were right. It wasn't that bad. :P
