Things that I've noticed in the last 48 hours that are cool and thus worth mentioning:

1. According to the scale, I now weigh 70,9kg. This is very nice, and only 1,9kg away from what I would like to weigh. Go me!

2. I found paskha in S-market. Yay! And also, I can't believe you're supposed to spell it like that in English... We call it pasha. Pasha. (That other word? In Finnish it means "shit".)

3. DA2 is absolutely awesome. Might have mentioned that before, but it bears repeating.

4. I've started on season 3 of Criminal Minds, and Jim Beaver was in an episode.

(But what happened to Gideon? And who is this new guy? And am I supposed to like this new guy now? I liked Gideon :/)
(Morgan loves Reid. A lot. I dare you to tell me it isn't so.)

Gideon left without much of an explanation (mainly because Mandy Patinkin wanted out very suddenly). Rossi (the new guy) will take some time adjusting to. Mind, he's no Gideon, but eventually he'll bring his own contribution to the team.

I read Reid/Morgan in a very sibling way. Morgan loves Garcia. Can't go there all the way, but she's the closest to a lover he'll ever get, I think.

Oh yes, there's a definite Morgan/Garcia thing. In some eps more than Morgan/Reid, for sure, but that just means that both pairings have to find a way to co-exist!

It makes me a little sad that it doesn't seem like M/G ever actually end up together (and why is that? Because he's too pretty for her? If that's the case then, for shame, show, for shame.)

All in all, I give a thumbs up to CM for making interesting female characters. :P This isn't my type of show at all, but it's grown on me. It's now my favourite thing to watch while having breakfast.

Oh, I'm all for multi-shipping. And Reid is a bit the black dress of fandom.

No, they never end up together properly. But that's absolutely NOT because Garcia is not hot enough for him or some similar bullshit! I don't want to spoil you (also I can't exactly remember at what point in the show this takes place) but Morgan has his own issues which basically prevent him from having a healthy relationship with anyone. I think it's clear enough that he loves Garcia, in his own limited way.

I love CM precisely because it takes a formulaic crime show stuff and just takes it to another levle with real, flawed characters. They've also been remarkably good with gender and race issue. This piece of meta does a really wonderful job of explaining why CM is so much better than other crime dramas.
