Nope. I turned off the microphone boost, and the recording volume is as low as I can make it. I suppose it could be just a bad mic on my headset, but the internal mic on my laptop makes that same noise. It's frustrating. The quality at the end is passable, but I'd really prefer to have a clean sound. :(
